Could your Child be one of Wokingham District’s best Players?
@wokinghamDPSFA are looking for players to represent the district next season. First Trial Saturday 1st of July.
To find out more or register your Childs interest please contact Stuart Bevan on [email protected]

District Football provides an opportunity for the most talented players in the district to test themselves at the highest level through competing weekly against the best players from associations across the South of England. The aim is that, through playing at this higher level for the year, the children will ultimately develop and improve as players.

If selected your child would enjoy:

  • Matches on Saturday mornings in the Southern Counties League, Surrey League, Shires Cup, Southern Counties Cup and Danone Nations Cup –  playing against District sides such as Portsmouth, Gloucester, Potters Bar, Swindon and St Albans.
  • Training once a week during school term times (September to end of April).
  • Team socials and Fundraisers.
  • Week tour to Jersey in the Easter holidays
  • Coaching throughout the season by FA qualified coaches and primary school teachers.
  • Kit for the season (match kit, training t-shirt, tracksuit top, kit bag).
  • Match day programmes.
  • The honour and pride of being selected to represent their district.

The details of the trial are as follows:

            10:00am – 12:00pm Saturday 1st July 2017
@ The Piggott School 3G Pitch, Twyford Road, Wargrave, Berkshire. RG10 8DS

The trial will last about two hours and your child will require their football kit (moulded boots or astros and shin pads must be worn). At the end of the trial, we will announce who we would like to invite to the final trial on Saturday 8th July – after which, we will announce the final squad of 12 players to represent the district for the 2017/18 season.

If you have any questions, please contact Stuart Bevan (Team Manager) via email.
