A CUT ABOVE THE REST

A CUT ABOVE THE REST - Mulberry Grove was built by Crest Nicholson who are a popular developer and are highly regarded within the industry. So imagine an apartment built by them but then added to by the current owners to create the ultimate pad...trendy and contemporary decor, allocated parking, top floor position (so no noise from above), and...wait for it....a balcony!

Seriously, these guys have really transformed something that would have already been great, in to something that is super cool. The minute I stepped in the flat I was impressed; its decorated neutrally but with character and the current owners have had large, glossy ceramic tiles laid the whole way through the hallway and then in to the living space which is definitely `the hub` of this home.

As you enter the flat, you`ll find a large storage cupboard on your right and ahead of you will be the second bedroom. What really impressed me when these places were built, was the the builder made them very well proportioned so you can use the second bedroom as a proper double room - ideal for sharers, those who want a guest room or if you have a young child.

Round to the right is the main bathroom which, again, has all the contemporary touches including a chrome heated towel rail, wood effect vinyl flooring, floating sink and a huge mirror which covers a large part of the wall. I`d almost go as far as saying its hotel-like!!

The main bedroom is positioned at the end of the hallway and is larger than bedroom two and with the added bonus of a built in wardrobe and an ensuite shower room with double shower cubicle - the style of the en suite is similar to that of the main bathroom - so it`s lovely!!

Now for the best bit (in my opinion) is the kitchen living room! A vast space which measures nearly 13 ft by over 22 ft with double aspect windows AS WELL as the french doors out on the balcony. With the windows at the far end enjoying a south-westerly aspect, this room literally floods with natural daylight and as the sun bounces off of the light glossy floor tiles, it really adds to the bright and airy feel!

The kitchen has trendy two-tone cupboards with wood effect cupboard fronts on the bottom and an almost cappuccino colour gloss fronts at the top. There is an integral fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine over and hob and there is plenty of work surface too. Currently our sellers have a round glass dining table in here but there is certainly space for something much bigger which wouldn`t impact on your space at all. In the `living` part of the room, they also have a rathe large L-shaped sofa and again, there is still room for more.

All in all, this is a must-see for anyone looking for their first home or investment property that has `the edge` over its competition. You get the best of both worlds in terms of location - easy access to Wokingham town centre whilst being within a short drive of the A329m and M4; ideal for commuters that still want amenities close by.

Don`t just take my word for it...come and explore this place for yourself, you`ll struggle to not be impressed!
