INCREDIBLE FAMILY SPACE – I first saw Acer House some years ago when first built, I was amazed at the room sizes then and I have to say my view hasn’t changed.

I was fortunate enough to live in Simons Lane as a teenager and Ioved every minute of it, the woods and park gave us all somewhere to tear around and then the local schools were so close that parents didn’t have to worry about getting up too early to get us to school or we simply cycled. Whilst I appreciate times have changed the location is still fantastic for all of the above so we’d urge you to pay attention to this one.

The electrically gated entrance is a nice starting point, not too pretentious, actually quite subtle but there nevertheless. The block paved driveway itself then gives access to the garage and also ample parking for a few vehicles so not a bad start at all.

Wandering inside you are greeted with a huge entrance hall, plenty of space to get kids in, shoes and coats off and room for a buggy or two so true family life works, you also then have a personal door to the garage. The depth of this space is vast too and looks all the way through to the double doors that lead into the kitchen / family / dining space.

Double doors then also lead through to the main reception room, whilst the theme continues with this being a large space it’s particularly the width of over 13ft that makes the room and gives options on how to furnish, the two front aspect windows also add a feature to the room.

The kitchen/dining/family room is then set to the rear overlooking the garden and impressive, covered outside entertaining space which is a huge extra! Again the square shape along with the size of the kitchen is what gives it the wow factor along with large central Island unit that creates the definition of areas in this huge open plan space. It’s worth noting that even with this large Island unit the current owners still have room for full size dining table and chairs so there really is heaps of room.

The further reception room which could be whatever you wanted it to be then follows suit at over 17ft by 13ft, huge. You have double doors leading into this room from both the living room and the kitchen and then further doors that takes you out to the covered entertaining space. Our feeling here is that this versatile room would change use as family life changed, real versatility which is so hard to find.

Trying to do the entertaining space justice will be hard so you’ll really have to see it for yourself. In brief it has the effect of a ‘breeze house’ which have become so popular in recent years. It allows you to be outside in the fresh air with shade when too sunny but also in the dry when we get those showers that threaten to cause us to cancel the long awaited BBQ we have arranged, or the evening has drawn in but you’re not ready to go in yet!

Moving upstairs it’s quite simple …… this is a ‘true’ five bedroom home with excellent rooms, two en suite and a family bathroom. The landing area compliments and matches the overall size of the house so the feeling of space is here to. The master suite has a large en suite with bath and separate shower and then a further dressing room so you have all you need not to mention the bedroom itself being an impressive 20ft by 12ft. I won’t waffle on about all the other rooms individually but suffice to say they are all doubles and bedroom two also enjoys an en suite.
