True Quality ThroughoutTRUE QUALITY THROUGHOUT – It really won’t take you long to see that everything done here has been done to a very very high standard.
We always love a call to Pine Drive, one of those roads that you know are so popular that you are almost half the way there and that the rest will simply depend on the property.
Arriving here to the immaculate frontage, driveway and lovely ‘Photinia’ Red Robin boundary hedge I could tell I was going to see something special.
Walking inside the entrance is light, bright, modern and spotless yet welcoming, you can tell that with times having changed bungalows appeal to all ages and the thoughts of them being dated and only for people of a certain age are now far from reality.
Turning left you wander into a beautifully fitted modern kitchen with light shaker style doors, attractive solid oak contrasting work-surfaces and contemporary brick formation tiling. Integrated appliances including large inset gas hob and feature butler sink all add to the look and style. You then also have a good size utility room off to the side so plenty of room for another butler sink, the washing machine and tumble dryer.
From this space you catch a glimpse of the stunning family / dining room and walking through it opens up into a huge, almost square room with stunning roof lantern feature letting the light pour in. This is a great space for relaxing or entertaining, the current owners have a large dining table and chairs and then seating area with large L-shaped sofa, you then have doors and side windows giving views and access out onto the covered terrace and gardens beyond.
What works really well here is that although you can imagine living in the family space day to day as the current owners do you then have a really lovely size but snug living room which can be used as you see fit but tends to be a quieter place to relax, read a book or watch a film in peace. This room again has both doors and sidelights giving access and views to the gardens.
With four bedrooms to the other side of this bungalow you have some true flexibility depending on how best you want to use the space and it obviously lends itself to change as life changes too.
The master suite is a beautiful room that looks like a show home yet is really comfortable, with great style, colours and furnishing that give a fantastic look. The en suite is wonderful, beautifully fitted with large shower, his and her sink units and storage with large inset mirror over and a very cleverly feature tiled surround. Bedrooms two, three and four / study are then all good rooms with two and three having a lovely dual aspect feature which really does make both rooms, the family bathroom, that also has separate shower cubicle, then services these rooms.
Moving outside and the theme of excellent presentation and attention to detail continues.
In my 30yrs buying and selling homes for people this is only the second time I’ve seen this particular feature and I’m staggered I’ve not seen it more often, a glazed open sided roof to the terrace area allowing you to use the outside space all year round and more importantly avoid the showers we get at the best of times when we’d rather be sat outside. I would also imagine that if you were to have outside heaters here the roof would help retain the heat as the evening got a bit chillier but you weren’t ready to go back inside?
This area then opens up onto the main garden which is lawn with planted border and enclosed by fence work. To the rear corner the current owners have a summerhouse/cabin which they have as a fully functioning outbuilding home office complete with power and internet connection and could remain subject to negotiation.
To the front you have a large landscaped parking area with lawn to one side softening things and as mentioned previously a lovely Red Robin front hedge screening.
All in all I have to say this really is a beautifully finished home that the current owners have spent time, money and a great deal of thought on, come and see what you think.
