ATHELETES are gearing up for Wokingham Half Marathon which is taking place on Sunday 18th February 2018

Once again, runners will take to the streets around the borough to run the 13.1 mile course on Sunday, February 18.

The race starts and finishes at Cantley Park off Twyford Road and there will be a number of road closures in place.

These closures will run from 8.30am through to between 1pm and 2pm depending on the section of the race.

Organisers say that restrictions to traffic will only be effective while the necessary signs are displayed.

There will be no car parking at Cantley Park, so organisers are asking runners to use town centre car parks (at a cost of £1) or The Emmbrook School in Matthewsgreen Road.

The list of road closures are as follows:

Bellfoundry Lane: whole length Warren House Road: whole length Forest Road from A321 Twyford Road to Binfield Road Maidenhead Road: whole length
