YOU’D NEVER KNOW YOU WERE IN TOWN – A beautiful terrace home with allocated parking …. surely not, and then add to this the permit space too !
This little network of roads is so popular so please, please don’t miss out, and this section towards the very end must be the quietest spot of all.
The initial plus here is simply the parking, I mean what a bonus to be able to pull up outside, grab the shopping and take a few steps and be in, priceless, and imagine if it’s pouring down.
So, wandering inside you can tell this home has been loved, really loved, and feels like real home. The enclosed entrance keeps the outside, outside an then you see the main living room. A lovely, cosy but light and bright room with the ‘must’, an open fire for those Winter days and evenings that are on their way, and if you’re like me, even autumn is a good excuse.
The recesses then give lovely places to shelve out, display pictures or anything else you would like to do to add a splash of something.
Through now to the central part of the hallway and you’ll find a very cleverly and well-positioned WC, genius, and often missing form these period homes. Onward to the dining room, another great reception space and one that you can use as you wish. A glazed doorway allows the light to flood in and clearly gives direct access to the outside along the walkway to the gardens … we have some ideas here, but we’ll come back to this.
Now to the kitchen, galley style and well-fitted with appliance space and built-in oven and hob and fridge freezer. The rear section has a wonderful, vaulted feature with Velux window and then double doors which allow you to spill put into the stunning gardens, bringing the outside in? …. absolutely.
Ok so now we take you upstairs, and one thing to take note of here is the staircase, may seem strange to point out but it’s not like climbing Everest.
It does lead to two glorious double bedrooms, both so light and bright and you can hear a pin drop. Both are equally square in shape so making them easy to furnish and very comfortable. The master then has the most stunning en suite shower room, this space has such a great feel to it and so very tastefully done, it feels fresh but welcoming and the vaulted ceiling and Velux window enhance things.
Now to the outside, we’ve touched on the frontage and the allocated parking is a huge bonus without doubt. You then also have the enclosed, planted garden that runs alongside the pathway taking you to the entrance.
Moving to the rear we have the most delightful, peaceful, and established southwest facing garden. The current owner has very cleverly created areas that give you all you could ask for, a stunning seating space immediately outside the double doors, room to bathe or entertain while looking up onto the raised terrace that takes a generous size outside dining set-up.
