STUNNING FAMILY HOME – Impressive both inside and out and ready to move into.
There are several designs on this development, but this double fronted, symmetrical look is probably my pick if I were to choose.
The lush green planting to the front helps the brickwork pop and really look something, then you wander inside and can tell that quality is what the owners had in mind making their choices.
A decent size entrance hall greets you with some clever, sleek finished handle less understairs storage making the most space often wasted. Off to the right leads into a fabulous size main living room with French doors and sidelights giving access and views to the landscaped gardens.
Turning left from the hall then takes you to the family room, this could clearly also be an amazing study/office should you have more need for it. The dual aspect front and side make this a stunning light and bright space.
This may seem like a strange feature to mention but I love an entrance hall that ‘opens up’ and this does just that, centrally, it gives some flow and also a much greater feeling of space. From this area you then also access a modern cloakroom.
Now you wander through to a truly lovely kitchen / dining space that is literally flooded with light. You can also see the thought that has gone into the look and style here, the white units really stand out against the contrasting work surfaces which in turn reflect the colour choice of the flooring.
A point to take in here is the extra width to the room compared to many others, it makes such an enormous difference, not just to the overall room but how you can furnish with a true dining table and chairs rather than just breakfast style. The French doors then allow you to spill out onto the raised terrace and gardens beyond, such a great social space for family time and entertaining.
Moving upstairs we have four bedrooms, a lovely family bathroom and en suite to the master. Worth saying here that the design of the home, L shaped,
means the landing really leads somewhere, another point you’ll have to see to understand but it does make for quite a grand feel.
Bedrooms one and two are both dual aspect which is pretty unusual and a notable feature, as mentioned, the master has a modern en suite with large shower with the family bathroom servicing the other bedrooms. Three and four both work well, decent size rooms which again could offer the flex for one to be a first-floor study if this is a better use of the space for you.
Now to the outside, another big plus for this home. We’ve touched on the frontage, but it really does set things off and the driveway to the side allows good parking and access to the garage and side gate to the gardens. The rear is my kind of garden, the split-level terrace makes for a lovely area to chill or entertain and as mentioned previously, you can spill indoors easily if the rain comes, wouldn’t have this issue in Dubai!
The lawn is then, well, very very neat but you can discover why and how, and the sleeper edged beds are a lovely feature and pop against the contemporary grey fence work. I’d then suggest you stand and look back, it’s a great looking home and the deep great windows and doors just work!
Overall, I’m struggling to find something not to like here but suggest you come for a private tour and give us your thoughts.
