SPACE SPACE SPACE – This home has so much space I think you’ll struggle to beat it.

So, I’m a big fan of maximising what you have, and this home certainly does this in bags, the extra living space that has been created by the current owners is jaw droppingly good.

Actually, firstly, let me go in the correct order, arriving, HUGE driveway with great parking and soft borders which create a great look and almost frame the space.

So now inside and you’ll be impressed for sure. The entrance is a lovely size and opens up nicely, the extension has also made a dramatic difference to the positioning of the staircase which totally changes how this space feels. It may seem like a strange point to dwell on, but you’ll notice how far back the staircase now is from the entrance which just gives a much much better feeling of space.

To the left you have the first reception space, now this could be an impressive office, playroom or treatment room (seem to be all the rage) so you can decide how it works best for you. Off to the right you have a lovely square shaped living room, so much easier to furnish a squarer shape and it also gives you options for how you’d like to furnish it too. The clever feature recess creates that extra space that makes such a difference, another clever move.

So through to the back of the home now, the kitchen / dining room extends almost 20ft in width with three windows along this stretch which allow the light to pour in and obviously views to the gardens. The kitchen area itself is re-fitted in white, sleek units and contrasting worktops, brick formation tiling and some integrated appliances. Exposed brickwork edges then add some features that I think work well, the dining area then supports a decent size dining table and chairs for family time and entertaining.

The far corner then takes you through to the utility room, somewhere you can close the door on and hide things, we all ned one of those, it also accesses the cloakroom so you can come in form the garden and not trapse through the house. Over to the left we then have even more space, a playroom, office, gym area, basically whatever you need it to be.

Moving upstairs we have three great bedrooms and a family bathroom, as with downstairs everything has been kept so well, freshly decorated and looking sharp. The bathroom is a modern white suite and fully tiled, a lovely finish.

Now to the outside, we’ve kind of covered the impressive frontage but the rear is pretty damn impressive too. So, we have an L-shaped patio / hardstanding area that gives a lovely seating and entertaining space with the lawn then leading off from here. Evergreen hedgerow then softens the boundaries and just looks great.
