Unique SettingUNIQUE SETTING - noir by david cliff - This really is one of my favourite settings and I think it always will be - Harvest Drive is a truly unique place with a mixture of converted farm buildings and some newer properties which have been carefully crafted to tie in with the same look and feel of the street. This property is one of the original farm buildings and has open views over protected farmland.
The private road offers a tranquil setting, surrounded by both fields and woodland, ideal for dog walkers or those who just enjoy a stroll. Providing country charm this well-kept property is just a stone`s throw from local amenities. The popular Walters Arms pub is close by as is the renowned Nirvana Spa, Sainsburys and Winnersh rail station being a two-minute drive or 15-minute walk and offering a direct link to London on the doorstep (in 50 minutes via Reading) this location really does have the best of both worlds.
The current owners have loved living here the last 6 years. They have enjoyed the quiet setting and close community environment Harvest Drive offers. As soon as I walked into the spacious hallway, I could see the property has a nice balance of living and entertaining areas.
The living room is a great size with dual aspect windows: this is such a great benefit to the room - allowing natural light to pour in. The room still has a great sense of character and charm to it even though it is large space. The layout of the ground floor is spacious and airy with plenty of room to entertain friends and family.
Back in the hallway and tucked out of the way is the downstairs cloakroom, everything you need right there. The kitchen is a fantastic size. Great worktop space, along with light coloured cupboard doors makes it a lovely place to cook and entertain. At the other end of the room you have a versatile space for either a table or chill area. This room boasts double doors leading out to the terrace garden area.
Moving upstairs you have three good sized double bedrooms which are very well balanced. The master room has double built-in wardrobes, making what is already a very good size room, even larger! The en suite is kitted out with a single shower.
The family bathroom is also a good size, a white suite and perfectly presented. There is also a large, walk-in airing cupboard off the landing which makes great storage.
As mentioned briefly earlier the communal gardens are superb and are without doubt as much a feature to this home as the stunning layout. There is a low maintenance private garden at the front of the property and the large south facing terrace at the rear gives space to relax and entertain in equal measure. The property comes with one allocated parking place in the covered barn, and there are ample visitor places for additional cars.
This all takes me back to my opening comments, it`s really is one of my favourite settings and I think you`ll agree when you`ve been to view.
