THE TARDIS IN THE COOMBES - noir by david cliff - well they say that `seeing is believing` and you just have to get inside this place to appreciate the sheer amount of space on offer. Everything is large, nothing is small and the location is just so superior that it`s not a chance to miss. If you know the area then Coombes Lane needs no explanation but if you don`t you`ll learn that just the other side of your neighbouring property is woodland that stretches for miles with various walks, cycle trails, bridleways and then reaching some stunning views of Berkshire`s countryside. So back to the house and it`s prudent to mention that this was one of two houses built to a bespoke design by a local builder. Space was clearly on the agenda when the plans were drawn up but so too was individuality and there is an overwhelming sense of freedom as you wander around this place.

The main living room is massive and stretches around 24ft in depth and 16ft in width and even with some of the largest furniture placed within it, there is certainly room for more (not that you would need it!). French doors then lead out to the patio and as the house benefits from a southerly aspect, the natural sunlight literally floods in to the room all day long.

Now if light is your thing then this is the kitchen to die for. The kitchen forms part of a huge conservatory which allows you to benefit from natural daylight even on the darkest of days. Not only that but the space itself is more than generous (in case you haven`t got the gist by now...everything is BIG!) and the kitchen is accompanied by a utility room which is double the size of most you see! With the extra storage that the utility provides you can keep the kitchen looking like the showpiece of the house at all times, perfect really when you consider that this is the best entertaining space ever!

When I asked the sellers what attracted them to the house, they instantly started talking about the location and the overall size but also the practicality of the property and I think you really start to see why when you make your way upstairs. There is no `small` room, every single bedroom has ample space for a double bed and three have built in wardrobes where the other two have ample plenty of space for free standing storage.

The master bedroom has an en suite which has a shower where the family bathroom has a double shower complimented by a large designer bath. All the bathrooms have been refitted to an extremely high standard and you will see the level of quality as soon as you walk in.

Outside the space is perfectly designed for easy maintenance but with an abundance of flourishing mature shrubs and plants and the elevated position means the whole plot is totally private..something else that our sellers were attracted to when they moved in. To the front there is ample parking for multiple cars and the garden can be accessed from both sides.
