Kiln Ride in Finchampstead is widely regarded as one of the most desired roads in Finchampstead and with good reason. Location wise you have a more rural feel but still retain local shops, restaurants and country walks if that’s your thing. On top of this you are also in easy striking distance of the town centre and all that is on offer there.
This particular bungalow has been remodelled and refurbished by the current owner and I have to say that a great job has been done.
Don`t be fooled though, there is plenty of potential for the new owner to further extend and develop the property which is something that has been done on a number of houses along Kiln Ride, where no two properties are the same!
On arrival you instantly notice the sheer width of the plot and realise that parking will never be an issue! The evergreen hedging to the front boundary then softens everything and enhances the rural feel that you have in this quiet road.

With a modern (colour) finish and chrome fittings it is a very current look and the contrasting granite work surfaces then finish things off well. Space has been created for the Range cooker (available by separate negotiation) and then you have a further integrated dishwasher, you can then move through to the separate utility room with room for the appliances and items that you want out of the way.
The main reception room is a lovely rear aspect space which looks out onto the rear terrace and gardens beyond through impressive bi-fold doors which when opened really do finish the feel. The contemporary fireplace and beautiful real wood flooring really do add to the overall look and feel.
I loved the gardens here too, you look out and just see sky and trees, may seem like a strange thing to say but the privacy is really noticeable. With a large lawn area you also then have well planted and quite mature borders with varying shrubs which add interest but don’t feel overly fussy. Your eye line is then drawn to the end which takes you into a slightly hidden area which you can then use as you wish but it’s fun.
