Private Drive

PRIVATE DRIVE - I have lived on Penrose Park for a number of years and can honestly say that the area has only gone from strength to strength and continues to do so, this particular setting is quite special though.

The Arborfield Green development has enhanced things even further with some beautiful public parks, amenities and fantastic schooling now all within easy walking distance so all the developments locally and the village as a whole have felt the benefit and continue to do so.

When I found this particular home I actually drove past twice before realising it was actually set at the end of its own driveway in a beautifully secluded spot. Not only is this just quite nice but is also gives so much more practicality than many others. Guests parking, older children parking not to mention a great safe place for young children to ride scooters, learn how to ride their bikes all within the safety of home, pretty good really when you think about it.

So, when you have found this place (look for the pink board it’s not hard) you’ll drive up and be impressed I think. Good looking approach, good looking home and detached double garage to the side, all quite impressive.

When you’ve stopped standing back and admiring it you’ll wander inside to what is a really well balanced four bedroom family home that simply works. Some great space downstairs with a huge main living room that really does stand out with lovely feature bay window letting the light pour in.

The study is front left and is actually larger than I expected and square in shape which may sound like an odd thing to point out but it makes it really easy to furnish and gives options if the study isn’t needed.

I’m actually pleased the kitchen (whilst really well maintained) hasn’t been refitted, reason being that you then won’t feel bad if you choose to knock through into the dining room which is what I’d do. . This would give you the open plan family feel many are looking for, add value and allow you to spill out onto the garden

The utility could then stay separate and serves its purpose well with access out into the garden.
