Stroll Into TownSTROLL INTO TOWN - If you are looking for a beautifully presented and extended bay fronted terrace home in the town, we think we may have found it for you.
This stretch of Easthampstead Road is well known and well thought of, you really are in the town yet have the feeling of being set back, out the way and quiet. If you’re not local to us it would be good for you to know that our already popular market town is undergoing a huge re-generation and has already seen some great changes. The variety of local shops, restaurants and pubs are for all to see and with a short stroll to the station you also have London not far away at all. With the cinema, leisure pool and much much more on the way we see only good things happening to the local area.
Walking inside you notice that this is one of the wider design with the separate entrance hall with staircase leading off and then door though to the open plan living space. As you come into this space you notice how light and bright it is, with large bay window to the front and then doors to the rear. The high ceilings, wooden floors and character skirtings really add to the obvious period charm.
This open plan living works so well, you have a lovely cosy feel to the main living room area which works around the feature fireplace. This then leads through to the dining area that allows for a good size dining table and still space to furnish to get the look and feel you`re after.
Wandering through to the extended kitchen you really can notice how much difference the extension has made. It may seem like an obvious thing to have said but all of a sudden you have room to make this more of a kitchen breakfast room which is what we would do. The under stairs cupboard is more of a utility cupboard so you have all the far end of the kitchen to add a table or breakfast bar, with windows on two sides and then door to the garden you can again appreciate the light coming in here too.
Moving upstairs you have two double bedrooms and the all-important large `separate` first floor bathroom which has both shower cubicle and bath. The master bedroom is a fantastic size and runs across the front of the property. Bedroom two is still a good double so you really do have some great overall space.
Outside we have a lovely rear garden enclosed by fence work with terrace area giving room to relax and entertain. The main section is then lawn with pathway to the side, all very simple but very nice with some established planting.
A short walk to Wokingham Station gives train routes to Waterloo Station and Gatwick Airport, you also have a bus route to the more local towns of Reading and Bracknell. This along with the close proximity to M4/M3 and being only 25 miles from Heathrow Airport gives you some really excellent links to get where you need to be.
All in all this is a lovely lovely terrace home which you would be wise to come and see.
