Truly Unique

TRULY UNIQUE - noir by david cliff - This is quite simply one of the most fun and cool homes I have seen in some time.

Arriving through the walled and wrought iron entrance you get your first glimpse of this impressive period home which is set over four floors and shows off some of the most attractive coloured brickwork.
From the private parking area you have steps taking you up onto the covered entrance and immediately know you are about to see something special. Wandering into the entrance hall your eye line is taken straight throw to the vast lower level kitchen/breakfast room and gardens beyond, and also to the staircase leading up to the first floor.

Turning right into the main living room you can see the fantastic ceiling height that you might have missed when you first came in, this room is a wonderful size and with a slightly irregular and characterful shape with huge window overlooking the front.
Walking back into the inner section of the entrance hall you then have steps taking you down giving a cool split level feature and into the huge kitchen, dining and family space. I love this space, it gives you a great `heart of the home` space which is increasingly popular and how we all tend to live and this is one of the best examples.
In the far corner you do notice a further staircase which takes you down a level further into the fully useable basement, I say this as many of you will hear the word `basement` and picture a space full of damp and spiders and with a ceiling height that only allows hobbits ..... not the case here at all even though I’m not regarded as tall.
This space really works well with a front window allowing in natural light and could work as a play room, office or dare I say it ... man cave, sorry ladies.

Moving over the upper two floors you have four wonderful bedrooms with half landings as you go up which again adds to the character and overall feel. The master suite is a mirror of the main living room so it really is an incredible bedroom with a beautiful en suite. The huge window and high ceilings are again a great feature and really make this space even more special as well as giving some fantastic roof top views.
Bedroom three is also on this floor and a nice double room, a sensible shape to furnish and has a lovely feel. The bathroom on this floor has a great blend of contemporary and period, the large two person walk in shower has a simple `walk behind` screen but then the free standing roll top bath is complete with claw feet. This is then all tied together with simple but attractive brick formation tiling.

The second floor is home to bedrooms two and four via a further split landing, bedroom four is off of the split landing and is again a lovely double room with great ceilings and tremendously light and bright. Bedroom two (measurement wise) is a lovely size but also creates it`s very own feel set in the eves, this is a room that takes you back in a good way is the room that all of the currents owners guests ask to have made up in when they stay over, you`ll see why.

Moving outside you have a great garden and probably more private than you would expect. The L-shaped composite decking area gives a great space to relax or entertain, this then leads down onto the main lawn area. The left hand boundary has an attractive timber sleeper edging and is well planted giving a real softening to the whole space, the privacy is excellent.

To be totally honest, having read that all back it still doesn`t do it justice but hopefully combined with the pictures it should give you a good idea. All that said the best idea would simply be for us to take you over and see this home in all its glory.
