UNIQUE SETTING - noir by david cliff - This really is one of my favourite settings and I think it always will be - Harvest Drive is a truly unique place with a mixture of converted farm buildings and some newer properties which have been carefully crafted to tie in with the same look and feel of the street.
The private road offers a tranquil setting, surrounded by both fields and woodland, ideal for dog walkers or those who just enjoy a stroll.
Providing country charm this well-kept property is just a stone’s throw from local amenities. The popular Walters Arms pub is close by as is the renowned Nirvana Spa, with Sainsburys and Winnersh rail station being a two-minute drive and offering a direct link to London on the door step this location really does have the best of both worlds.
The current owner has done a fantastic job creating a really contemporary, shabby chic style interior which when blended with the period stable conversion exterior gives you something really quite special.
The living room is a great size with doors opening through to the large private terrace and lawned gardens beyond which extend for some distance. The exposed beams are still a feature but have been cleverly softened by decorating them in with the ceiling colour.
The kitchen has been beautifully re-fitted with a gloss finish, the wood flooring ties in with rural feel to the setting and the integrated appliances ensure clean lines throughout. The downstairs cloakroom has been fitted to the same high standard.
Moving upstairs you have two double bedrooms which have a lovely part vaulted ceiling feature, the exposed beams have again been softened and really add to the feature. This coupled with the skylight style windows ensure the light fills the rooms. The bathroom is compact but again beautifully finished.
As mentioned briefly earlier the gardens are superb and are without doubt as much a feature to this home as the stunning interior. The large terrace gives space to chill out and entertain in equal measure. Landscaping has then created lawn areas with borders and trellis work which are actually relatively easy to maintain so you do get all the look and without constant maintenance.
This all takes me back to my opening comments, it`s really is one of my favourite settings and I think you`ll agree when you`ve been to view.
