I`m sure it will seem strange making so much of a courtyard but this to me says a lot about this property and its history not to mention the true practical benefits....... Walking in through the courtyard to the covered entrance area you really can’t wait to get inside and see what this home holds. The huge entrance hall shows you the first glimpse of just how well this contemporary feel has blended in with the true period exterior. Looking left and right takes your eye line to both ends of the property and you begin to understand how there could be just over 3000 sq ft here. The re-designed family bathroom deserves its own mention, you could easily find yourself just looking around at the quality of what has been created here. A great size with stunning freestanding roll top bath and separate huge walk in shower, the flooring, period feature radiator and colour scheme just look wonderful. Bedrooms two,three and four are then individual in their own ways and have their own feel but the high standard remains throughout with bedroom three actually having its very own en suite bathroom. Moving outside you could easily lose time just wandering and looking at the detail of the build as well as appreciating the design of the gardens and the re-designed terraces the current owners have taken charge of and delivered. A well respected local builder who speacilizes in period renovations has been trusted to carry out all the works that have taken place here at West Lodge and you can see it was well worth it.
