PERIOD CONVERSION - noir by david cliff - This conversion is well known not only because of the nature of the building itself but also the peaceful setting that is lucky enough to be nestled in.
Maybe it`s because `Frog Hall` sounds like it should come from `Wind in the Willows` as Toads neighbour but we always feel it is a little bit story book here, the buildings features, lovely gardens to the rear and treed boundaries all help it to look and feel a bit special.
This apartment is much loved by the current owner and she has retained it even after she moved away because she hoped that one day she would return but reality has struck and it`s time to move on.
Presently tenanted we are able to offer and end of chain sale so when you see it and decide it`s for you, you won`t have to wait long to move in. The entrance hall offers storage and room to breathe but as you wander through you will be delighted with the large open plan reception space and large shuttered windows creating a light, bright space. This room is more than generous enough to allow a good size dining table with plenty of room to then have a large L shaped sofa seating and chill out living space.
Whilst the re-fitted kitchen is also open plan it sits quite cleverly offset so you don`t have the feel of everything being on show yet still enables you to be part of what’s going on if you`re preparing food.
The two bedrooms are great sizes and again have shuttered windows giving privacy and light at the same time.......as well as a fantastic stylish look. Both have built in storage so you can then choose to furnish as heavily or lightly as you wish. The large family size bathroom is also a bit more than you may expect with both bath and separate shower cubicle, not usual in apartment living so another great little extra.
The grounds that surround are all well established and fit with the look you would expect, with then the parking to the front. As you have no through traffic here it is so peaceful yet still great striking distance to town as you turn left or indeed fantastic commuter links without having to travel through the town centre so something for everyone.
If you like the idea of apartment living but want to know you have a ‘one off’ rather than a repeated look and style then Frog Hall really should be one to come and see.
